The companies that are involved in the manufacturing and the processing job are ordered a Central Excise Audit by the government under the Sec. 14 & 14 A of Central Excise. The excise audit is carried out in order to Valuate and detect the wrong availing of Lower Duty Payment and CENVAT credits. Excise audit orders are issued by the Central Excise authority on selective basis.
